Job Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as Summer Camp Teacher. As a Camp Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a fun and safe environment for campers to learn, grow, and have memorable experiences. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage with campers during daily activities and play time
- Plan and lead age-appropriate games, crafts, and recreational activities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times
- Assist with meal times, including serving food and monitoring dietary restrictions
- Provide guidance and support to campers in resolving conflicts or challenges
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive and inclusive camp environment
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and camper progress
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children in the classroom, daycare, or similar setting
- First aid and CPR certification (required)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle stressful situations calmly
- Experience working with students with special education needs or tutoring experience is a plus
- Babysitting or childcare experience is highly valued
- Passion for education and creating meaningful experiences for children
